Ferrari launched its latest masterpiece, the F80, a limited edition. For $3.9 million, this hypercar was sold out even before its production had started defining Ferrari's strong fan base. Only 799 units of the car were produced.
Even though the demand is three times more than its production. Ferrari's Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, Enrico Galliera, said "We'll have to say no to people who do not expect it from us." The F80 is an endurance motor racing and Formula 1-inspiring car loaded with the most advanced technologies and outstanding design.
Advanced Technology and Design
It has a powerful hybrid engine with 1,200 horsepower and 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine making it incredibly fast. Ferrari F80 can speeds up to 350 km per hour. The F80’s unique design includes butterfly doors and unaligned seating, where the driver sits slightly ahead for better control. It also uses 3D-printed metal parts and advanced suspension for superior handling.
The Ferrari F80 is the reincarnation of the hallowed "Holy Trinity" of hypercars consisting of the McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 Spyder. Recently, the Holy Trinity has moved into its second chapter. McLaren launched McLaren W1 as the successor to P1, and Ferrari responded with F80. Porsche, however is still in the process of fine-tuning plans for its hypercar of the future called Mission X.
